DIN 74361 wheel nuts for trucks, buses and trailers: pressure plate, sleeve, flange and guide sleeve nuts for hub-piloted wheels; spherical collar nuts, flat collar nuts with Limes rings and inner and outer cap nuts for stud-piloted wheels. Strength class 10.
Sorted the way trucks are built: first by how the wheel is centered, then by seat, then by extra features such as a plate, sleeve or flange. All nuts are strength class 10. Made to your OE number or drawing.
Flat seat. The wheel is centered on the hub; the nut only clamps it.
Also called a thrust plate nut. For flat-seat steel wheels: a captive plate turns freely and spreads the clamp load over the wheel face.
For alloy wheels, which are thicker at the bolt holes. Short (K) and long (L) sleeves; AS to Alcoa specification.
A flat-seat wheel nut with a flange formed in one piece with the hex.
A wheel nut with a long guide sleeve below the seat.
Anti-theft wheel nuts turned only with a coded key. Zinc-nickel keys with hex 27, 30, 32 or 33 mm.
Ball seat. The nut centers the wheel on its spherical seat.
A ball-seat nut. The spherical collar centers the wheel on the stud. For trucks, buses and trailers with spherical-seat wheels.
A flat collar nut (Form B) with a hardened Limes spherical ring (Form C) under it, which together seat like a ball-seat nut.
For dual wheels: the inner cap nut clamps the inner wheel, the outer nut threads onto it and clamps the outer wheel. Left- and right-hand threads.
41 standard wheel nut sizes. Other threads, heights and finishes are made to your OE number, drawing or sample.

Most heavy trucks and trailers in Europe run on M22×1.5 thrust plate nuts. What changes is the hex, the height and the sleeve.
Specs can change with model year, axle and wheel. Send your OE number or a sample and we confirm before production.

Shenzhao truck wheel fasteners are aftermarket parts and are not OE parts. Vehicle, axle and wheel brand names are used only to identify fitment. Shenzhao is an independent manufacturer and is not affiliated with or endorsed by these manufacturers.
Large plants are built for one standard part in huge volumes. We are built for the opposite: tailoring a proven design to your market, in quantities that make sense for you.
Workable quantities for test orders, regional fleets and new product lines.
Thread, hex and height matched to the trucks and trailers your customers run.
Finish, marking and packaging adjusted so your range is not the same as everyone else's.
Send an OE number or a sample nut and we match it, plate and sleeve included.
Truck wheel nuts look alike, but they are not interchangeable. Before anything else, check how the wheel is centered and how the nut seats against it.
Most European trucks, buses and trailers today use the flat-seat (ISO) system: the wheel is centered on the hub, and the nut clamps it through a captive thrust plate (DIN 74361-3). The plate turns freely, so the clamp load is spread over the wheel face and not lost to friction. Older vehicles and some trailers use the ball-seat system (DIN 74361-2): a spherical nut, or a flat nut with a Limes spherical ring.
Alloy wheels are thicker at the bolt holes than steel wheels, so they need a thrust plate nut with a sleeve. The sleeve length (short K or long L) depends on the wheel and the stud length. A nut made for steel wheels on an alloy wheel will not clamp correctly.
M22×1.5 is the most common thread on heavy trucks and trailers; M18 and M20 appear on lighter trucks, and 7/8″ BSF or UNF on some older vehicles. Hex 32 mm is the most common, but some makes use hex 33, so the right socket matters in the workshop. Height follows the stud length.
Our truck wheel nuts are mostly finished in zinc flake coatings such as Delta-Protekt, Geomet, Magni and Zintek. Zinc flake is applied without electrolysis, so there is no risk of hydrogen embrittlement on high-strength class 10 nuts.
Tighten to the torque given by the vehicle or axle maker, in the correct sequence, and re-check after the first 50–100 km, when the wheel has settled.
An OE number, a vehicle or axle list, your wheel type (steel or alloy), or a sample nut. We match thread, seat, hex, height, plate and sleeve.
DIN 74361-2 covers ball-seat nuts, flat nuts and Limes spherical rings. DIN 74361-3 covers flat-seat nuts with a captive thrust plate, with or without a sleeve, used on most European trucks today.
A thrust plate nut with a sleeve. Alloy wheels are thicker at the bolt holes, so the sleeve length must suit the wheel and the stud. Send the wheel and vehicle and we match it.
Both are used with M22×1.5. Hex 32 is the most common; some makes use hex 33. Check the OE part or send a sample.
